How do you know when you get a new internet lead?

For most dealers, having someone sitting in front of a computer 24/7/365 is not practical. Even if you have a dedicated Internet/BDC, there are times when there are no eyeballs on the lead screen. What do you do then?

It’s all about response time.

Back in the early days of the internet, a 24 hour response time was considered “timely” and most customers would wait to hear back from you. But as time progressed and internet customers became savvier, they also became more impatient. Dial up connections were tossed aside as DSL and then cable took over the task of providing increasingly faster connection speeds. The 12kbps modem speed/24 hour response time benchmark is now a 1.5 Mbps/60 second response time. How can this be accomplished?

Auto responders are only half the solution.

The initial solution to the response time issue was to set up an email auto response. But while this solves the issue of time, the issue of content also has to be addressed. Auto response messages, by their very nature, have to be fairly generic in order to cover the majority of situations. Most of your customers have experienced these message and know exactly what they aren’t – an individual reply to their situation.

LotProOnline can help.

With LotProOnline, you can configure both the full version as well as the lead acceptor version to alert your pager, SMS-enabled cell phone or Blackberry/smartphone when a lead is received. The information contained in the SMS/email is all the contact information including phone numbers and email addresses. This allows your designated contact person to personally respond to each lead – either with a call or an email - and to quickly establish a rapport with that customer.

The cost to you

This feature is included, at no extra charge, with each LotProOnline full version and lead center package. While normal message charges from your communications provider will apply to SMS messages, those LotProOnline dealers that have Blackberry email service or smartphone users that subscribe to internet service will see no additional charges if they choose the email format.

Let us show you how it’s done.

Response time is critical when it comes to your internet customers. Stop putting off after-hours or weekend internet customers. There are over 500 dealers in the United States that use LotProOnline for their leads every day. What do they know that you don’t?
