NADA Launches Ad Campaign to Boost Vehicle Sales

In an effort to boost sales at the retail level, the National Automobile Dealers Association has produced a series of ads for dealers to place with their local media outlets.

Here at Auto Credit Express, we want to keep our dealers informed of the efforts of the various national organizations that support them. To this end, the National Auto Dealers Association has created a new ad campaign designed to reinforce these key messages to the public:

•    Credit is available

•    There are great deals and incentives on vehicles

•    Vehicle quality and fuel efficiency have never been better

As part of this campaign, NADA has produced what they call a “grassroots advertising campaign” in the form of newspaper ads, radio commercials and television spots. These ads were sent to all TV/cable and radio stations as well as all newspapers in the U.S.

Participating Media

You can check on the NADA web site (www.nada.org) to see if your local media are participating. If not, NADA is encouraging all local dealers to contact their ad reps to see if they can place one or more of the ads for free. If your media has not received the information, they or you can download all of it at no charge from the web site.

The Bottom Line

If your dealership is like most dealers, you probably spend thousands of dollars each year with the local media. In the best spirit of quid pro quo, now would be a good time for your media rep to return the favor. Here at Auto Credit Express, we think it’s a great idea.
