2010 NADA Convention and Expo
The NADA Convention and Expo in Orlando as expected, was a spectacular show. Hopefully the car dealerships and sales managers that attended will begin to implement some of the great ideas they picked up at the conference.
Although the presence from exhibitors from the special finance arena was way down, I and members of Auto Credit Express spoke with hundreds of automobile dealers about beginning or increasing their subprime car sales. It was also a delight to see a handful of subprime lenders exhibit at the show with the intent of signing on new stores.
The show organizers also contributed to the excitement by handing out $200 vouchers to dealership registrants, which they could spend with the exhibitor of their choice. Many exhibitors, including us, matched the vouchers to increase the savings. I believe it would be wise for NADA to continue this policy at the next show.
